NOTES
The Christmas 2020 event is now over! Those who completed the Gingerbread Forest track alive during the mini-event will earn the “Santaslinger” style for the Gunslinger’s default skin in BETA.
The Enemy Dummies can be used to test enemy damage and better visualize how much damage a class can do to enemies or vehicles. Vehicle damage can be tested by shooting the pinned metal plates on the cork boards. The cork boards also have pinned blank pieces of paper; this is currently placeholder and next update will likely include a new ad type that will let people submit artwork similar to the TV Ads & Posters.
Note that the current load screen icon is a placeholder and will be replaced with another animated sprite next week.
Progress Report
For those wondering, this is what we’re planning on having out in the next update to go towards getting the game into BETA. If you would like to see a more detailed list of what our plans are, check the notes of this post.
Gamemodes
Similar to Special Waves though are selected at the start of a game (Wave 1) but last through the whole game and would contain things that wouldn’t make much sense as a special wave.
Planned modes include:
- Standard
– Default mode, no gimmicks are added. - Permanent Deaths
– Respawns are disabled. - Limited Respawns
– The server has a set amount of lives and will let players respawn alive in a wave if they die, though will not be able to respawn at all once the lives are depleted. - Classic
– The game is changed to be a bit more like the original game, with the track rotation only including the original tracks alongside removing any of the new upgrades that were not apart of the original game.
Difficulty Select
The difficulty of the game can be voted at the start of the game (Wave 1) and will adjust enemy spawning & behavior accordingly. This may also adjust upgrades and their prices when playing on Hard but this is not yet decided. Take note that the current game counts as what Normal mode would be.
