NOTES

This will be the last update till we release the Summer update! I expect that for sometime in September (rather late, ay?) as we have fallen a bit behind than I originally anticipated. A proper trailer should be shared by the time we have a release date.

In the downtime we may have between then, we plan on finishing up a Battleboards update and putting a normal update together for RBLXWare.

Documentation

Combat Train

This Train Type has the middle sector serving as the critical part while the front and back are made to be completely disposable. On-top of this, the Defense upgrade can be upgraded further by default and the Missile Launcher is replaced with the new Turret upgrade exclusive to this train!

When the turret is bought, it will support the team in the background as it automatically fires at arrived enemies until the wave ends or it’s ammo is depleted. The upgrade costs 300 EXP by default and can be bought an extra two times to further increase it’s damage and max ammo. The owner is able to change it’s target distance between the following: Nearest, Farthest, Highest, Lowest.

New Weapons

Borrowed Technology
The Borrowed Technology is a minigun for Psycho. This weapon has a high damage output though comes at the heavy cost of being unable to refill the weapon during a wave. Your clip needs to be reserved carefully as this is intended to take out bulkier vehicles or a large influx of enemies rather than small fry.

The default texture is likely to be edited at some point in the future to give it more of a scrappy & rough metallic look. We had to move on to some more important things, so we’ve only put together a flat texture for now.

This was a pretty risky addition and I do hope it won’t lean towards being overpowered, but if this needs adjustments then I’d especially like to hear your feedback on this weapon!

gokruu Cola
THIS IS. gokruu Cola. This drink will provide a defense buff and minor health regeneration while it’s effects are active at the cost of a slower walkspeed.

Silent Partner
The Silent Partner is a new utility secondary for Gunslinger that builds a meter on damage dealt which grants a faster reload and firing speed on all weapons while the effect is active. This weapon comes with a tighter spread by default, though does significantly less damage than stock.

The effect can be activated with the Mode key (V by default) when at 100%. If you prefer to have the effect automatically activated once at 100%, pressing the Mode key while under 100% will toggle the control for effect activation between automatic and manual. This is also able to be changed in the Settings menu and has been added to the Quickshot Rifle as well!

Deflector
The Deflector is a new secondary support tool for the Medic that is able to flash a shield while active which will block incoming damage for yourself and anyone inside. The shield’s duration is short by default, though can be upgraded to extend it’s duration and bubble radius.

Deflected damage will grant a small share of EXP, though a Ricochet upgrade is also available which will send back a portion of the damage supposed to be dealt back to the sender. This damage dealt to the sender will also add up as EXP earned for the user.

Tablet
The Tablet is a new tertiary tool that is exclusive to the Combat train’s Turret upgrade. When bought, the owner will be given this tool for the wave and is able to remotely change the turret’s target distance. For more details on the Turret, see the Combat Train in the documentation.

Profile Cards

When clicking someone on the playerlist, you can now view a card that details their current loadout, equipped skin, reputation, general statistics, and their highscores! This is a replacement for the Statistics menu that was previously seen on the sidebar.

Customization is pretty limited as of right now, though I will consider adding some more features at some point in the future. For now, you are able to change your displayed emote to any that you own by clicking on your avatar!
