Dentiez | Demotion and Suspension System

:arrow_down: Demotion and Suspension System

Below you’ll find a detailed explanation regarding the demotion and suspensions system within Dentiez.

  • Understand that demotions, suspensions and promotions are logged collectively, and so to avoid being prevented from obtaining certain ranks in the future, it is to your best interest that you avoid being demoted or suspended.

The Dentiez staff team reserves the right to suspend and/or demote ANY staff member as long as they have contacted said staff member about the process, and provided them with a detailed and sufficient explanation as to why the suspension/demotion has occured.

In the case that a staff member is not contacted about their suspension/demotion, an investigation will be conducted, and the staff member who distributed the suspension/demotion will be punished.

These investigations may only be conducted by the Staff Director or above.

Read below for further information on how and why a suspension/demotion may occur;

Suspensions

A suspension may occur if a member of staff:

  • consistently shows disrespect towards members of the community (discord and game);
  • disrespects an Allied Representative or any members of a group we have an alliance with;
  • constantly asks high-ranking staff members to promote them;
  • is reported by multiple members of staff for causing a disruption within the community;
  • is found being toxic towards players in our game servers;
  • is undergoing a staff investigation.

Note: These are not the only reasons as to why a suspension may occur. It is simply a general bracket of rules so that it is easy for you to decide what you can and can’t be suspended for.

Demotions

A demotion may occur if a member of staff:

  • habitually breaks the above rules;
  • has been suspended twice or more;
  • is decided to be unworthy of their rank by the executive board.

Again, these are not a fixed category of reasons as to why a staff member may be demoted, but more of a general group of rules we’ve put together.

If at any point the Executive Board casts a vote - with reason - to determine whether they want you to continue in the staff position you currently possess, they reserve the right to do that.

We reserve the right to update these rules at any time.
