🌸Staff Handbook

In this section, you will discover all the essential information about joining our staff team at DentiStar. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to contact a member of our Management Team.


Staff Rules & Regulations

Adhering to the following rules is crucial. Failing to do so can result in serious consequences.

  • While grammar may not be mandatory for staff, it is highly advisable for Dental Surgeons aspiring to advance to the position of Staff Assistant. Clear and understandable communication remains crucial.
  • Treating everyone with the utmost respect is a fundamental requirement in all situations. Failure to do so will result in consequences. Setting a positive example for fellow staff members by cooperating and listening to the MR’s/HR’s is essential for ensuring smooth operations.
  • While at the dentist and training center, you must be on your best behavior. This means being professional and mature.
  • It is important to note that hinting for a promotion is not appropriate here at DentiStar. Such behavior may actually decrease your chances of being considered for a promotion. Additionally, please be aware that we do not consider promotion recommendations from LR’s.
  • We provide Roblox rank transfers and restorations. In addition, should you accidentally leave the group, you will be required to open an ownership ticket in the communication server and provide proof of your rank.

How do I do procedures?

In the upcoming game, a tablet in your inventory will be essential. This tablet allows you to claim appointments for your rank and ranks below yours. To claim an appointment, all you need to do is click the green claim button next to your desired appointment. Once claimed, a green arrow will guide you to your client. Then, you can greet the client and take them to their appointment room, which will be indicated by a green arrow as well. On the tablet, you will find further instructions on how to complete the appointment.

In case of a surge of appointments for lower ranks, prioritize those. For instance, if you’re a Dental Surgeon, consider doing braces appointments when there are no appointments for your rank. As a dentist, avoid working at reception or spectating appointments when there are multiple clients, ensuring everyone receives swift service.


Protocol Information

Whilst at the dentist, you may come across troublesome individuals. In such situations, stay calm and handle it with composure by using the specified protocol responses. If you need an MR+ to help you after following our warning system, you can reach out to one through our group wall or on our communication server.

Trollers

A Troller is someone who intentionally aims to create discomfort or problems at the dentist.

  • Verbal warning → Warning → Call MR+ to kick

Disrespect

Someone not showing respect or insulting people is considered a disrespectful user.

  • Verbal warning → Warning → MR+ to kick

Minor & Mass Spammers

A mass spammer is someone who spams more than a sentence 4+ times in a row. A minor spammer is someone who repeats the same singular sentence 4+ times in a row.

  • Minor Spammers: Verbal warning → Warning → Call MR+ to server ban
  • Mass Spammers: Call SHR+ to permanently ban

Inappropriate Usernames & Clothing

If a user’s username or clothing displays any slurs or NSFW content, immediate action should be taken to permanently ban them. Inappropriate words are those that manage to bypass the Roblox chat and username filter.

Exploiters

An exploiter is an individual who utilizes external malware to disrupt the game or gain an unfair advantage. This includes actions such as flying, teleporting, enlarging body parts, and walking through walls.

Glitchers

A Glitcher is someone who is using glitches and bugs in the game to give them an advantage or to cause a disturbance over other individuals. This can be things such as glitching through walls via dancing or breaking furniture so that they no longer work correctly.

  • Verbal warning → Call an MR+ to server ban

Fellow Staff Misbehaving

While at the dentist, if you notice a fellow staff member not following one of the rules listed above, please remind them to stop, and if they don’t listen, call an MR+ to assist.

MR+ Misbehaving

Whilst at the dentist or training center, if you notice an MR+ misbehaving, gather proof of the situation and DM it to an Moderation Member or SHR (depending on the MR+’s rank) immediately.

  • MR Misbehaving: Gather evidence → Send that information to a Moderation Member
  • HR Misbehaving: Gather evidence → Send that information to a Moderation Member
  • ED Misbehaving: Gather evidence → Send that information to an SHR

🏹Code of Conduct

In order to maintain DentiStar Dentistry as a secure and enjoyable space for all, it is imperative that everyone adheres to the guidelines set forth in our code of conduct. Failing to comply with these rules may result in a ban or blacklist.

  • It is essential to always treat all players in the game with respect and kindness at all times.
  • It is important that you refrain from engaging in trolling, raiding, or spamming.
  • You must wear avatar items and clothing that are appropriate.
  • You should not engage in any form of discrimination or harassment.

How to become an MR+

You can achieve the MR+ rank in two ways: either through promotion or by applying for it. However, regardless of the method, you must first attain the rank of Dental Surgeon, the highest LR rank, to be eligible.

Once completed, you must demonstrate your readiness through various means, including maintaining a high level of activity, mastering the use of grammar, effective communication, kindness, and more. Doing dentist appointments and being actively engaged on our communication server are pivotal factors.

  1. Promotion Method: You will need to be noticed and promoted by a member of Staffing or Moderation. Before being welcomed onto the Management Team, you will need to complete an internship as an Intern. If all goes well throughout your internship, you will be ranked as a Staff Assistant, and your promotion will be announced in our staff-announcements. The internship is a time for you to prepare for your future position.

  2. Application Method: Every couple of months, the Staffing and Moderation Department releases Trial Staff Assistant applications. All Dental Surgeons interested in joining our Management Team are able to apply. Once you’ve passed applications, you will also have to pass a trial. If you pass both of these things, you will then be welcomed onto our MR team.

The MR team is responsible for helping manage the group. MR’s assist at training sessions and around the dentist. Due to the number of responsibilities they have, we are looking for competent people who are available for the workload that comes with the position.


Recruitment Shifts

Recruitment shifts are unique and unpredictable occurrences happening once or twice a week. Unlike regular shifts where playing games at the dentist is common, these shifts require the entire staff to work diligently. During these shifts, our Staffing and Moderation members will be on the lookout for Dental Surgeons who demonstrate exceptional management skills and a strong work ethic. If you’re fortunate enough to be noticed, you might be given the opportunity to join our prestigious Management Internship program.

Make sure to stay alert and keep an eye on our sessions channel, as that’s where these shifts will be announced.
