And for large games with a small streaming throttle, it could take years to copy singular maps, especially if the map is constantly changing or being updated.
We got a bit of a problem here…
You don’t have an API key after a lookup. Make sure you’re using the GH code.
If we find you’re sharing a key though it’ll be invalidated.
I just found out that SteamX does not give a damn about Custom Materials… Could you guys fix that?
It’s on the list of things to add, we will add custom materials and material variants soon.
Hello! I bought the 15k permanent plan yet was stuck on a loading image for over 10 minutes. I left the game to try and re-login and just check past payments or the API Key category, yet nothing happened… I really hope I wasn’t scammed and that there can be something done about this!
Oh yeah, that’s weird. I tried DMing you about it, but you never got back to me. I’ll DM @Crcoli737 and ask you to make an API key and I’ll help you debug there.
Oh goodness! I’m so sorry. These message requests are throwing me off, as I have no idea when people are trying to DM me!
You should be getting your API key from @pyxfluff any moment now.
I’ll do a quick check of the payment server and make sure nothing funny is going on.
Please do note we are still very much beta software, although we have a lot of improvements coming soon
Regardless, enjoy StreamX!
Oh my that’s quite the debacle! Glad we got it figured out though. As @anon61048460 said, we are still in beta and have been working on reliability quite a bit.
First “warning” for StreamX: I’m about to do disk maintenance on my server, so if I’m the only instance currently up then StreamX will go offline. The streaming URL should be load balanced although I’m not sure if @Crcoli737’s instance is up or not to handle my traffic.
Regardless, said “maintenance” shouldn’t take that long anyways so I doubt we have a problem.
Also, I’m resuming work on the streaming engine rewrite. I haven’t had the motivation to do any work recently, but I’m feeling pretty good at the moment. Expect the first usable demo by around next wednesday.
Normally I would of got started today, but it’s obviously Thanksgiving.
tl;dr: StreamX might go offline and the rewrite is getting started.
The downtime has been concluded and lasted less than 10 minutes.
As of right now StreamX is working at about 75% capacity although there is no current downtime. (Still working on bringing up another delivery server.)
Make sure to share StreamX with others! It helps us identify instabilities with StreamX and helps support the developers.
I still think that there’s a payment center error. Wait while we fix this.
I’ve made some other improvements to it which will be pushed when we get a fix
I haven’t pushed the update ye,t still improving it and working to prevent this. I will update when I’ve sent the update out

Thank you for waiting!
Hey guys! Make sure to check out our new status page here:
I can tell StreamX is already improving just like that, good job StreamX team! You’re doing good!
I was joining the payment center, and this is what I keep getting:
I had to use mega since the max size was 10 MB.
It seems like the second delivery is having Performance Issues?
I think they’re currently offline, but I think they know about it.
It does say the payment server is working even though it just freezes after I select login.
