Will you be able to stream specific parts only with this? I looked at the description and all that but the only difference I see is it streams out parts in a circle rather than a square or whatever streaming uses. I’m confused on what this is for.
And question about the beta, once it goes out of beta, will people who apply get the final version once it comes out or will they only get the Beta version?
Close but not quite, the server was a cloud server which was being transferred to a physical server. And it’s not because I haven’t been on in a while, that the server shut down, it’s because of availability issues. The reason applications haven’t been getting approved is because I have been busy doing school work.
Isnt StreamX for better fps on rendering? But you have to make different fps and physhic fps, fps is how ur system performance run and physic fps is how good on rendering, so u recdive 600+ fps and u got 60 physhic fps so it doesnt mean you got 600+ fps from StreamX improvements. I would say your using fps unlocker for break limit fps (NOT PHYSIC). So if your game stabled run at 60 physic fps you dont need external helps for it, bc it will be useless.
There 1 way to increase a little bit physic fps by disabling castshadow, changing material, decrease brightness on particleemitter, make bit transparent. I tested it before it give me ~0.15-0.3 more fps. (On 100 animated meshed trees, quality 10/max, tested on cheap laptop (2 cores, intel hd graphic) ) 36.9-37.1 to 37-37.4. If roblox let we access changing RenderFidelity on MeshParts by script that will be good
Like what i said before if ur stabled at ~56-60 physic fps i recomanded dont use externals help because using external that can just take more memory usages + performance gameplay (fps, NOT PHYSIC) decreased, using many RunService.Heartbeat/RenderStepped/Stepped arent good too.
I’d prefer that you educate yourself before replying on my topic.
For this section, StreamX only improves Render FPS which is normally the bottleneck which most players encounter. The physics engine works with things touching each other and pushing other things, nothing to do with the parts being rendered.
Physics FPS is not meant to be increased by StreamX as very few people have crappy enough GPUs that the Roblox physics doesn’t run smoothly, Rendering is the problem, not Physics.
That’s essentially perfect.
Memory Usage would go down since the user part data wouldn’t be loading from memory, it would be loading from an external server.
And rendering from the external server would increase the average player’s FPS (RENDERING) mind you. Although the only “FPS” that may drop slightly is the Network Receive and that is because all the parts are being rendered from the server.
