A friend and I have recently been working on this game as a startup for our Development Studio: MARVEL: Battlegrounds - Roblox
It has definitely been more successful than we really thought it would be with not a huge amount of effort put in, but the one problem that I’m seeing with our stats is that our average playtime is staying around 4 minutes. My question is what methods would you all recommend to increase the average playtime?
As a side question, can you think of ways to implement monetization into this game model without making it P2W? Any feedback is appreciated.

I’m not really a fan of superhero stuff, but I know something is off with the game which might cause people to leave quicker.
- Your game probably has a too small map,
- Or your game doesn’t really have any planning done to it.
Maybe you could add more buildings and make the map bigger, or try adding more weapons? Also, to your question about how to make this not a pay-to-win game, try implementing coins that you get with KOs, which you can buy temporary power-ups with or upgrades.

Put a Flow feature into it, such as an overlapping quest, or raids, or methods which makes it repeat it’s self that has a reward behind it as well, which makes the player appreciated, things like flashy colors on rare items or move sets can be one of them.
