Usually Roblox educators do it for some sort of personal gain or monetary incentive. I suggest giving some robux for doing the task to get volunteers easier.

Hello, thank you for responding!
I’d like to emphasize and make clear on the, Educator role. This is a given privilege in the community, It’s not for personal gain but it’s to instill some knowledge to the face of the community. We aren’t going to compensate educators because, we don’t feel the need to. Being that there’s a strict requirement for educators and rules to follow, we don’t feel as if a form of compensation would be the best motive to put in the face of the server. Below, I’ll list the regulations for being an educator. Please, read below for more information.

This is taken from the community server, that I’ve written.

“The Instructors/Educators will have the role. So, please do not fall for impersonators in or out of this server. @Educator Role, Is a given privilege to educated and talented developers ready to devote their time to instilling some knowledge to the face of the community. Please, me mindful that once you have this role, you cannot slack off without informing the, @Education Head+, Each, Educators will have their own schedule for what they’ll be hosting, @Educator’s+ are required to host 2-3 Classes Weekly, It can last from (25 Mins, till a given time). Please, instruct your students with homework, to allow them to practice what they’ve learnt from your lesson for credits. @Educator’s+, are required to log each class the teach to keep track of the innovative learning.”

“Educators, will abide by the rules the same way as you all have to. We have a standard regulation in this server to keep the community as safe and as responsive as possible. Educator, please be mindful, @Educator+, is a privileged role and It’s a given role to remark your talent and to instill and pass on your knowledge to the student of this server. Please, do not abuse your role, avoid any complications or dispute in the server w/ a student or staff. Thank you!”

In closure of your response, I’d like to say that being an, Educator. Would give you an open door to more foundations and resources you probably haven’t had. We strive to bind our community as a place for all resources and learning. We’d love if you did give us your time and let’s up-hold DevCourse’s motive. Thank you once again, for responding!

I have updated the post to look more appealing

It is voluntary, no pay is needed  :ok_hand:t4:

Hey! I contacted you at discord.

Far be it me from pointing this out, but you’re charging people for taking courses?
May I ask where that money is going to if it’s not to fund the “educators”?

I believe that knowledge should be an open book for everyone for completely free, including but not limited to the so called “private lesson”, the offer seems a bit tempting to “work” completely free for a set hours and comply with a lot of rules for completely free.
However, if you plan to charge people to learn then might as well pay the people that are actually teaching those people that are paying, I am not sure who’s going to write your courses or what makes them the best/worth the money, I certainly wouldn’t invest in this.

Lua.org, stackoverflow, every forum and the scripting section here, they’re all “open books” for people to share knowledge and learn from each other, what makes yours a better place than that?
How come that we have to pay for something we can get completely free knowing that the money we spend isn’t even going to the nice people that are actually teaching us?

Please do keep in mind that a lot of people are “busy” and if you’re going to “employ” them then might as well pay them since you’re charging the people they’re supposed to be teaching.

For now, this seems like a fantasy, I may be completely wrong but that is what I think.

Magik hit the nail on the coffin.

I can’t agree with or get behind this and a certification from a random school group doesn’t add too much merit. You expect us to also provide this service such as open source work free as educators; but charge people for it.

That is in no shape or form right, I suggest everyone go watch videos for free on youtube that provide complete guides on how to create games.

What you screenshotted are the tiers that were provided as part of an additional core, to what we are providing, ALL COURSES ARE FREE, Being, that this is a fairly new corp. Things may change but from my perspective from where we are standing right now, it seems that everything is working in our favor. So, I’d think otherwise of your claim.
