Developer Product Image Resizing

I am currently trying to upload an image to a developer product of mine. However, the uploaded image just seems to resize and become smaller.

The dimensions of my image are 1000x1000px and I have tried using a transparent circle and square when uploading. Help will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I have uploaded the two same images in 100x100px and the result does not differentiate at all between the 100x100px and 1000x1000px images.

It would also help out a lot if I could know the dimensions for uploading an icon like this. If someone knows this, please reply to this message as soon as possible.

The only limit I have found is 1024x1024.
