Developer Stats dates are misleading

Here’s the “Daily” data of my game’s developer stats:

The current date as I am posting this is 8/13/2015 at 3:00 PM Eastern.

Basically, the stats collection for each date actually begins at 8:00 PM. The “8/11/2015” data is actually the data from August 11, 8:00 PM - August 12, 8:00 PM. The “8/12/2015” data is unavailable because it is not yet August 13, 8:00 PM.
So in reality, most of the data is coming from the day after whichever date is listed on the page.

The Monthly stats are also strange:

“Monthly” starts calculating on the last day of the month at 8:00 PM. The “July 2015” stats are actually July 31, 8:00 PM - August 31, 8:00 PM and remain incomplete until that timeframe has passed. “June 2015” really represents my game’s July stats.

Are developer stats timezone-dependent, while always starting at 12:00 AM GMT? Do European users have this issue?

It all looks fine (or at least better) for me, as European. I see the 8/12/2015 and August 2015 entries at the top. Hourly displays 8/13/2015 4:00 PM as first entry, which doesn’t seem to be PST (isn’t this the time zone Roblox always uses?) nor CEST of the current hour, though…

I wish ROBLOX would stick to one time zone for everything

I wish they’d just display everything in your local timezone in whatever format is sensible for that area :P.

Interesting. It does sound like a time zone issue, probably Roblox’s servers vs the datastore for stats. Thanks for sending this and helping to figure out what’s going on.
