DevEx and ROBLOX ToS

Hello friends. I’ve been accumulating Robux in my account for a while now, and I feel like cashing out soon, something that I’ve never done before. I have the little “Cash Out” option on my developer page, but from my research, this doesn’t guarantee that my request will go through.

I’m afraid that Roblox ToS will prevent me from being able to cash out. I can’t find any strict parameters for what constitutes as “too many infractions” online, only vague, generic cases. Does anyone have any specific information regarding this?

From what I’ve heard, the only sorts of infractions that would potentially prevent cashing out are robux related infractions (scamming/stealing robux, chargebacks, item theft even though you can’t cash out from sold limiteds)

Do you know of anything regarding bans/warnings for in-game violations? (chat/voice messages etc)

I’ve been told that the only moderation actions that can affect your ability to DevEx are scamming and cheating related bans/warns. Only way to find out is to try!

If you aren’t certain whether you’re eligible for DevEx or not, you may send an email to Roblox. They’ll take a look at your previous infractions and determine if you meet the requirements.

If you aren’t sure if it is going to be accepted, just submit the cash out anyway. If they deny the cash out, they’ll just refund you the robux!

I might be wrong but I don’t think customer support give answers to this. Only the developer exchange team are able to complete these checks, and is on a per case basis. Best bet is to make the request. The OP will either receive an invite to the developer exchange portal or a rejection email (which then refunds the Robux anyway). Unless the OP has violated the terms of service on many occasions or has major infractions (such as multiple copyright strikes), I’m sure it’ll be fine.

UPDATE: I submitted my first request, and it was accepted despite having multiple ToS bans and violations in the past year. This may be useful information for certain people who are new to DevEx.

@EpickDoe, @SeargentAUS, and @Spearritt had the best advice. I just sent a request and hoped for the best. Luckily it worked out!

Thanks guys!
