DevEx Cashout fields incorrectly autofilled

Bug: Autofill fields for the DevEx Cashout page fill in the username for the zipcode field on Chrome, and no other fields are autofilled besides the password.

This happens on the latest version (and older versions) of Chrome on both Windows and Mac. This has been happening for as long as DevEx was around.

It also autofills the password correctly, so it seems to think it’s a login page. None of the other fields are ever pre-populated, although Chrome properly remembers the history of the fields (i.e. will autofill when you start typing).

My assumption is that this is happening because the next textfield is the password, thus Chrome is assuming that the field before it should be the username.

I did not check other browsers

For Safari on iOS, email is autofilled as my username. Password is autofilled to my password.

That has happened for as long as I can remember, I think I’ve used Google Chrome ever since DevEx came out. I always remember to type in my zip-code manually.

Edit: It’s a sign that Roblox developers will completely take over their zipcode’s name eventually. 2 huge developers in the same zipcode? Nope can’t happen, there can only be one!

I always thought this was a browser bug vs site bug

But I have nothing to prove it so

Seems like a browser bug. On Safari it autocompletes different fields than Chrome does.

I would argue it’s not a browser bug and that web developers are tasked to work with how browsers interpret this stuff

I like how my address gets split up so the house number is on address line 1 and the rest is in address line 2. Also on chrome
