The pending period is to prevent fraud, so transactions can be reverted.

For example if an account is stolen and the owner requests rollback, or if a large scam operation has been identified, they can recover your Robux before it’s been laundered away.

There are too many transactions for them to thoroughly review every single one of them. However, they can with DevEx requests. It’s a last check before the Robux turns into actual cash.

People in other countries do not celebrate thanksgiving, that’s a US exclusive holiday.

Christmas and Thanksgiving is a single day.

There is no excuse.

Hire more people rather than shutting down devex for two entire months.

People who want over-time pay, I suppose. I mean, I worked on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

I submitted my request on November 1st, and I have not received my payment yet. This is not the first time his has happened; I had to wait an entire 11 days back in July to receive my payment. I’m not trying to sound impatient, but receiving my payment as soon as possible is important to me. In other words, did they start the “holiday break” the second November began?

Same I submitted mines 5 minutes after 12:00AM Nov 1st yet my devex hasn’t even been submitted to the portal

I’m also pretty worried. My DevEx has been pending for 29 days, it’s actually crazy. I’ve been seeing posts of people saying theirs is taking 3+ weeks too

Oh, what are the chances. It appears my request is now on the website and its status is “Submitted” at the time of writing this. I have a feeling it took me questioning the delay to get them to look at it.

Yea, mines only around half the time but it’s also been on submitted forever now. I really needed it this month and can’t pay for a important thing I need because of it :frowning:

I requested on november 26 and I still dont have mines either. Its been 8 days and I still don’t have it. I help my mom pay rent with this money and its very frustrating not being able to pay it with the money Ive earned from my game. Thanksgiving is over and people are back in school at all levels, so why is it delaying?

Ok so wouldn’t I be top priority since I requested on the 26th of last month? Or do I have to wait 5-6 days from december 2nd like we normally do? I feel like I should have it by now lol

If I submit my DevEx request before December 8, & it for some reason gets rejected, will I receive it in time for Christmas if I resubmit after December 8?

Is there any chance that a DevEx request submitted on December 9th will still be reviewed this year?
It is not entirely clear from your post whether December 8th is a fixed deadline, or just a recommendation, and some requests after that will still be reviewed.

I submitted my devex request on the 30th, and it’s the 6th of janurary, and it’s STILL pending.

Does anyone know when this will be fixed?
I have something very important to pay for…
I dont get why they shut down for so long??

like i get the team deserves breaks, but people rely on roblox and this is some peoples jobs? some people have to pay bills, rent, ect
i dont even celebrate thanksgiving or christmas.

Processing didn’t restart until January 2nd, and there is likely a backlog. Pay being frozen for the holidays is pretty ridiculous though for anyone that relies off Roblox as a full-time income.

yeahhh it’s really annoying.i deffo agree the team needs time off, they deserve that 100%, but waiting so long for my money was grueling lol.
Also, i think they’re getting to people now. I just got my devex.

I’m having the same issue right now. I submitted on the 28th and it’s still pending.

The thing that bothers me the most is that there is no communication about this to us as developers (which I created a bug report about). I have no clue what’s happening with my request, and my two emails to Support have gone unanswered for weeks.
