DevEx Rejection

Hello.

Recently I submitted my DevEx & it got rejected twice. I received this message stating “Your Developer Exchange request was unable to be processed for the following reason: Submit DevEx with full legal name.” This is regarding about my full legal name.

I did send a support ticket regarding this issue but the reply I got was totally out of topic or misunderstanding. I am not trying to verify my age or complete Age ID Verification. I am contacting about a DevEx request that was rejected, due to my legal name format.

My first name is a single letter “T” as shown on my government ID, and my last name is with 8 letters, that’s normal. I understand this may look unusual, but this is my valid legal name.

At this point, I’m not sure what to do, or else… I can’t DevEx forever if they keep rejecting due to the format of my name. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello!
I would honestly contact Roblox DevEx support through Roblox Support and point out the fact that your first name is actually T.
They will probably send you through an ID Verification process or at least that’s what they did to me, and you’ll be good to DevEx once again in 1-2 days.

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate that. May I know what should I include in the ticket? Because in fact, I already sent them a ticket stating that my first name is actually T, but the reply I got from the person is literally out of topic. If you are able to tell me what did you exactly wrote in your ticket so I may get the same response as you did and be able to DevEx without any issues. Thanks bud!

Looks like they think you’re having issues with the Age ID Verification feature.

When typing the inquiry to Roblox’s support, don’t mention the fact that you want them to make you ID verify you, simply just say that you don’t understand why your request got rejected, and insist that your real name is actually T.

I would honestly type down my full name & legal document picture censoring some stuff, of course

Make sure to not metion that you want them to verify you, they’ll consider doing that themselves.

Alright sure. Before that, I would like to point out something which you explained. You mentioned that in the ticket, you “uploaded your legal ID document picture”. May I know what document is that? A picture of your ID (front & back or front only) or was it like a random bank statement transaction?

I would post a front picture of your legal Identification Document (ID) which shows your full name, alongside other information, although, censor some of the information

Submit ID from your (ur country’s) government issued document such as passport, national ID, or driver’s license. If you’re under 18, your parent or legal guardian must submit their ID instead. Bank statements can be used as proof of address similar to utility bills as long as they show your name, address, and recent date. Only censor private info like account numbers or signatures if Roblox or Tipalti allows it, always keep visible what they ask for.
