DevForum size/scaling/positioning issues on tablets in landscape orientation

I’m considering this as a bug, so I’m putting it here on #forum-help:forum-bugs, and apologies if the title naming is bad.

The DevForum has sizing/scaling/positioning issues on tablets (atleast for me)

Device:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G
One UI 3.1; Android 11; November 1 2021 security patch
Chrome version:

(It says “About Chrome” and “Application version”)

The extra space in the create a topic UI is for the preview.

This is an issue with discourse and it spans every discourse forum I’ve seen. I suggest you bring it up if it hasn’t been brought up before on the Discourse meta forums

Also for what it’s worth, I’m jealous of the padding on your tablet. On a 2560x1440 desktop display, it looks like half of a website.

Actually if you slide everything to the left, you can see it’s less than half.

This is the intended design of the Discourse site and so not a bug.

I recommend filing a feature request about the spacing issue on meta.discourse.org or on #forum-help:forum-features .
