They would function just like the new Facebook/Twitter/twitch/YouTube profile button thingies that you can show off to other users that see your profile.

I’d like other users to see art work I have made. This’d also be useful for users that regularly make / sell GFX and artwork for other users, so potential buyers can go to their profile and see what they’ve already made.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of art showcasing and whatnot, but DeviantArt is often a world of extreme inappropriateness. I don’t think it’d exactly be a good idea to open a portal to that from ROBLOX.
I wouldn’t mind having a link to a showcase of my artwork. As it is I just drop my DeviantArt username in my description. DeviantArt does host some rather questionable art, but most of it’s hidden away under the mature filter which is on by default.
Anyone interested enough in commissioning art will take the time to find your username on the site. I don’t think it’s a good idea to link Roblox and DeviantArt. I know some kids who know that Roblox is a safe site for them to browse, and will think DeviantArt is also since it’s been linked to by Roblox itself, rather than another user.
The above scenario may not happen often, but it will happen.

if you allow deviantart, it’s a slippery slope! let’s add myspace, cuz why not? and spotify and soundcloud!!! and let’s also link to our own subreddits!

Perhaps just make a showcase game. Upload all of your art as decals, and make a nice UI or museum-like world to display them.
You could get fancy with DataStores, DevProds and perhaps HTTP to let people commission art straight from the game.

I’m not bothered by it, but I know some users and their parents would be. We cannot have the young users have access to view things like this. Sure, it’s a great idea, but roblox community isn’t all 15+ and can handle excessive cursing, nudity, and much more.
I know you will say why wouldn’t they just Google it if they are interested in it.
That’s the families problem then, ROBLOX shouldn’t be giving easy access to things like this.
