DevLog 1: Environmental Progress

for the better part of a week now, i have been working on creating a section of dromund kaas, which is primarily a thick, foliage-dense jungle, and i figured i could share my progress, and receive any feedback on what could improve the map, or what may be a detriment to it.

i hope the photos above help with providing feedback. my goal with this landscape is to make it a very murky, dense jungle, without having lower-end devices suffer framerate issues.

as such i’ve been a little diligent, and have made sure all of the trees, foliage, and rocks are mesh-based.

P.S. this is my first time working with a map this large, so i apologize if i made any amateur mistakes.

@agentphilip07 @LiterallyLaser appreciate the praise, haha, i’m happy it looks as good as i envisioned

Just play around with lightning as it looks somewhat bad(in terms of lightning).

The lighting obviously looks really bad. Would help alot make the scene look better. Also play around with the terrain hues. Keep up the work!

@First_Draw @AirtonGamer_Ytpro the lighting was intentional on my part to ensure i could fix errors with the terrain & model placement before i incorporated genuine lighting.
