This is where I’m going to keep all updates to my new game and current project called Zombie Break, I made a feedback topic about it last night but honestly I should’ve waited the 24 hours so I could actually fix everything and not make the same mistake as Cyberpunk 2077. Anyways lmk if there are any bugs or whatever.
EDIT: Roblox gave me a warning cuz i put too much gore, keeping game private for now til I decrease it
EDIT 2: I fixed everything that was wrong so it’s open for the public now
UPDATE LOG 0.0.2
Fixed Control Editor to being able to work
Added console support
Its not hard to make gore. OP if they did not use a free asset just keeps changing the mesh of the individual parts of the zombies body using a specialmesh.
To OP @D4shy8oy:
The game is quite poorly made. The mechanics aren’t that good and the only nice thing are the animations and the builds. The GUI is also abnormally large which is not a good sign. The gameplay is also quite lame imo.
I think I am not being rude at all here. I am just saying the fact that the game is just not too appealing and OP should work on fixing the listed things that being the gameplay is lame so you need to add more things. The GUI is large so make it small and the mechanics aren’t good that being the mechanics need to be fixed and made more responsive and polished.
I don’t get it why people say I am rude? When I am not!?
you could word it something like this:
The builds and animations are good but i would probably make the gui smaller as its too large. The gameplay is kinda boring (you could give suggestions on how to improve the gameplay if you had anything specific or just leave it at that)
The mechanics aren’t great (you could list ideas on how to improve them if u want to aswell)
i think its just the way you word things but you do make good points. i hope this helps and have a amazing rest of your day
‘Preciate the council, could you give me some reasons as to why the gameplay is lame? And maybe some ideas on how to improve it?
EDIT: And ideas on improving mechanics, btw what does OP stand for?
The gameplay is lame is this case that its just shoot and kill and repeat. There is no actual fun to it. It would be better if you can add special mechanics like zombie grabbing you and adding more different zombie types? I am also working on a zombie shooter and I did the following to improve the gameplay.
There are different zombie types but they only spawn at later rounds to make the game harder. For the grabbing idea would I just check if the player is within a certain radius of the zombie, check after the zombie plays an animation if the player touched the zombie, then just add like a weld constraint or something to hold the player?
I would say make different zombies appear in the first round but their concentration rises as we go further in the rounds. And yes the grab system idea is correct.
