Difficulty with using Blender for IK based animation

I have been following a Blender tutorial to try and animate a R15 rig. I’ve run into a roadblock with using the IK feature.

Normally when you drag the torso straight down in Roblox’s animator, the IK makes the legs bend, and the feet are flat on the ground.
However, attempting to do this in Blender only leads to the entire rig being moved down.

In order to get around this, I have to change my LowerTorso’s Z position by a very small unit. Now my legs bend, but my feet are tip-toeing.

(Z position is set to -0.01)

I tried to manually change the feet’ rotation after this, but that led to terrifyingly bad results.

How do I make my rig’s legs bend while keeping the feet at a level angle?

Try using other rigs, like fixed rigs. Here is a YT Video for you if you want, (It’s guaranteed safe btw, check the video’s comment section. I’m using it too so it’s guaranteed safe for me.)

If you wonder how to remove the anime effect (the gray outlines on the body of the rig), just use lightings and its fixed

I probably should’ve clarified that I was trying to create player animations.
I’ve seen a rig like this before, but it only says it’s for GFX thumbnails rather than animations.
Would this rig work for creating player animations?
