Disable In-game Purchases

Many times, accidental purchases are made in-game. Within the Roblox website, gamepasses and other items show up with the “Buy Now” button being on the left and “Cancel” on the right. Whereas in-game, the “Cancel” is instead placed on the left while “Buy Now” is placed on the right. For whatever reason this is, many others including I have had a high chance of making an accidental purchase because of this.

There should be an option in your privacy settings to disable in-game purchases. Not only will this prevent accidental purchases, it could potentially decrease the amount of complaints against the actual game itself along with complaints against Roblox.

Another option should be to include a verification that yes, you do indeed want to purchase this item. After clicking “Buy Now” there is no form of verification that you clicked on it, whether it be done by mistake or some other form of action, forcing you to buy something you potentially did not want to buy.

There already is a prompt when you’re purchasing something. Also unless the game is randomly prompting you to buy the item, that means you’d have to click two buttons (the game’s store UI buy button and the Roblox official one) just to buy it.

There’s no reason for a third buy button.

That’s false. In-game when a prompt is given, clicking “Buy Now” by accident does not give another option to verify you’re purchasing.
