Disable Levitation Animation Pack

So playing with R15 animation packs kinda limits the functionality of some games such as obbys and prevents the character from fitting in certain places. I was wondering if there is a way to disable some animation packs (or change them to default). My current fix is to revert all players to the default animations, but it would be nice if anyone has solutions.

There is a setting in studio for configuring the animation on players.

You can replace the Animate script, load the default animations with humanoiddescriptions, load the default animation bundle onto their character manually, or replace the animation IDs in the Animate script…

but this is only if you want to do it on a per player basis or when you want (i.e. allow in lobby but not in obby or whitelist certain bundles). Otherwise use the game setting.

Hey! Luckily for you, Roblox has implemented this already without any scripting involved! To toggle this, locate home on your toolbar in your published game, and you will see a button called Game Settings! Press this button, and go to the sidebar button that says Avatar, click it and you should find it as the second option.

Will this solution affect the start place or just the place it is toggled on?

I’m not entirely sure. It probably affects all places under the same game though. Hence "game settings" and not "place settings".

However if this is not true they should update the naming scheme.

Yeah it does affect the start place… I guess I’ll just replace the Animate script so people can have their animations on the lobby. Thanks for your help!
