I think we should be able to disable Youtube Thumbnails autoplaying. It is annoying to open up a game page and have loud music blasting in ears.

Are you saying this as a user viewing a game page, or as a developer wanting to disable it for your games?

I agreed to this, so loud videos randomly starts, when i go to a games page…

I agree, both for the sake of my internet connection and I don’t need the video to play again if I already watched it once. In the mean time I’ve disabled autoplay on embedded YouTube videos via my YouTube Center Add-on.

The FIRST thumbnail should be allowed to play automatically, WITH sound, otherwise there’s NO REASON for videos to begin playing, WITH SOUND at that.
if you keep capitalising every other word, then it diminishes their effect on grabbing attention
Steam has a solution to this autoplay issue. There’s a small checkbox next to the thumbnail media row that says “Autoplay videos [x]” and you can turn it off. Simple solution. Everyone’s happy.

Since this isn’t going to be fixed, I went ahead and deleted my video thumbnail. It’s so obnoxious to join a game and then hear the trailer audio in the background.

… Why would they implement them though? There’s no data to pull from anywhere suggesting that doing these things would increase traffic or revenue. Why would they bother?
Because if you only focus on revenue and don’t bother with user satisfaction your company dies. People don’t go to your site to give you money – you attract them with what they want so they give you that money.

They are giving a website people want, by making it 100% mobile compatible. (Eventually)
There enlies almost all of Roblox’s user satisfaction. With these plugins, the very few users who need these advanced features have “out of the way” access to them without disturbing regular users.
edit: I’m not actually being serious
What’s more annoying, is that it’s muted by default.
And then next time I try to watch a youtube video, I have to manually un-mute it because youtube remembers roblox muting my video.
