Not sure why you assume that I was exaggerating about the update and was beating around the bush when all what my post says is that its helpful for group moderators but now Iā€™m looking forward for Roblox to let their users transfer robux from their own account to a group.

I believe there is a glitch with ads that takes users to the group page, due to this update.

Hey, this update has had many bugs. 1/3 times when I put an ad out for my group, when you click it. It redirects you to the home page. I am frustrated because I am losing thousands of robux in ads that are broken! @BitwiseAndrea

This is a nice change to have, itā€™s been slow navigating between groups but itā€™s now faster!

I donā€™t see why this is happening though:

I really donā€™t see why old links are being affected like this

This seems good but any plans to fixing the overall group search.

If you search something like ā€œroblox developer forumā€ it will show a bunch of big groups not even with the name. It seem that this feature was in 2017 but now the searched overall is messed up this includes games.

It caused issues with advertisements. Advertising groups would cause when clicked to go to the home page not the group.

Will it become possible to change a userā€™s group role directly from the group wall?

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to change a group memberā€™s role when viewing the group wall. Currently, it is a multistep process requiring the following:

  • Click on the user to find their real username (versus display name)
  • Click on Configure group and go to Members
  • Search for the group member by username or by browsing pages
  • Click their current role and select new role

If this issue is addressed, it would improve my development experience because it would become a much quicker process to change roleā€™s while viewing the group wall:

  • Click the triple dots beside a userā€™s group post and select proposed Change Role option
  • Select new role

I havenā€™t seen this request yet when I searched. Also, Iā€™m unable to post this as a Website Feature Request since Iā€™m not a Regular user. Iā€™d be surprised if Iā€™m the only person wanting this feature, however.

Im going to assume the technical restraints were to large, or too much of a hassle to fix, so they probably scrapped the project.

Is this ever gonna be readded? It was a really cool feature and could really help some people.
