  • New Maniac Phenomenon: Endurance (replacing Enclosed Maniac)
    • Endurance, named after the scrapped 2.0 gamemode, is a phenomenon where the lineup gets harder as you progress (first disaster, normal; second disaster, twisted; third disaster, random danger alert; etc.)

CHANGES

DISASTER CHANGES:

  • Most disasters have received new damage systems, which should eliminate the bug of toxic debris stacking damage (example: A star hits a block too many times to where it deals 90 HP instead of 10 HP when touched by a player).
  1. Meteor Showers:
    • Meteors now drop in pairs
    • New Meteor Type: Small Boy (blast radius: 100x100x100)
    • New Meteor Type: Big Boy (blast radius: 400x400x400)
    • There is an indicator for where the meteors will fall
  2. Hurricane:
    • Hurricanes are now multi-directional
    • Damage slightly buffed
  3. Tornado:
    • Full rework
    • Tornado now fluctuates from EF0-EF5, dealing more damage as it strengthens
  4. Solar Flares
    • Solar Flares are now 2-hit to players
    • Shockwaves are produced once solar flares make contact with land
  5. Hostile Raid
    • Formerly ‘Hostile Planes’, full rework
    • Planes spawn every 3 seconds, with up to 5 planes
    • A broken plane can spawn, in which it will fall onto the map
  6. Avalanche
    • Full rework
    • Before the avalanche, a mountain forms in the middle of the map
    • Avalanche debris ranges from spheres to blocks, and is multi-directional
  7. Gamma Rays
    • Added a new black gamma ray, the biggest of them all
    • Shockwaves are produced once gamma rays make contact with land
  8. Starfall
    • Full rework
    • Stars are smaller, but fall faster and will explode upon impact
      • The explosion is based on the star’s color, and size may vary with stars
    • ‘Wildfire Star’ can now start a mini-wildfire, infecting other parts
    • ‘Lightning Star’ falls faster and can spawn a lightning bolt upon impact
    • New ‘Geyser Star’ (formerly Explosion Star, now spawns a geyser upon impact)
    • New ‘Combustive Star’ (any objects touch will explode, upon impact, it can cause 2-4 back-to-back explosions)
    • New ‘Ice Star’ (turns objects into ice, before igniting into flames)
    • New ‘Time-Freeze Star’ (any object touched will freeze in time)
    • New ‘Ghost Star’ (any object touched will become almost invisible)
    • New ‘Transformation Star’ (any object touched will transform into a random object)
  9. Air Strikes
    • Visual changes
    • The missile’s airtime has been made consistent across all bomb types
  10. Battleships
    • Full rework
    • Battleships can now enter the map
    • Removed Homing Missiles, replaced with ‘Water Strikes’ (a battleship can fire an air strike, where the beam will move around the map until detonation.)
  11. Black Hole
    • Space debris will come from the sides of the map, and can deal 35 damage when hitting a player
    • Black Hole size buffed
    • Visual changes
    • Song changed (Antimatter)

MAP CHANGES:

  • Most maps have received new photos in the voting screen
  • Most maps have received new welds, enabling realistic disaster interactions with the map.
    • Blue Moon Mall has not received new welds (rework in development)
    • Smooth-Block Resort has not received new welds (rework in development)
    • NeoCity & Hollow Jungles will receive new welds next patch
  • ‘Camp Roblox’ visually changed, river added
  • ‘Country Plains’ visually changed, signs added
  • ‘Maple Treehouses’ visually changed
  • ‘Medieval Castle’ visually changed, walls of castle increased, pathways added, and a bridge and river were added
  • ‘New Cylan City’ visually changed, construction building changed to hotel, with an entertainment hub
  • ‘Space Colony’ visually overhauled
  • ‘Stadium’ visually changed, pathway added
  • ‘Weather Station’ visually changed, removed computers in main office to reduce lag
  • Music track changed for ‘Deserted City’ (Due West / Sonoton Vanguard)
  • Music track changed for ‘Empirial Cliff’ (Way Of The Egyptians / Big Shorts)
  • Music track changed for ‘Space Colony’ (Moon (a) / Juice Music)
  • Music track changed for ‘Pre-Vaporwave’ (Skate City / Vaporwave Club)

GENERAL CHANGES:

  • Enabled R15
  • Intermission significantly faster (removed chosen map/mode screens)
  • Special gamemodes, such as Maniac and Double Jeopardy, will no longer have an “In Other News…” segment, similar to what Classic has.
  • Loot chest visually overhauled
