Currently if you open the asset publish window e.g. via a context menu option such as these, but press cancel right away because you didn’t mean to click into that dialog or you changed your mind, it will ask you if you want to discard your changes, even though you didn’t change anything.
My guess is this happens because the title autofills with the name of the instance I’m publishing, but this side-effect is jarring and unpleasant, and pulls me out of my groove.
This dialog should only be thrown if I personally make changes. Since this information is automatically generated and filled in, I wont be losing anything if I close the window.
I am in the process of checking over bug reports and following up on some bugs that haven’t received any activity in a while.
Is this issue still occurring or can you confirm that this bug has been resolved? We are having a hard time reproducing this issue
Hi, this issue is relevant today, really ignorant that this prompt appears when no configurations to asset configuration happen at all. Basically two words; bad UX.
