This post is a bit long, but if you currently have an order open or plan to order in the near future you should probably give it a read.
DELIVERY TIMES
For many of you, I have exceeded the delivery times that I said to expect. Well, that was before I realized that being in college is a full-time occupation. My school days range from 6 - 9 hours or more so there might be some days where I donât design at all.
Also, school and designing arenât my entire life. I have a social life. Hobbies. I like to waste an hour or two playing video games every day. This is not to say that commissions are on the back burner, but my life certainly doesnât revolve around them.
I am constantly adjusting my estimated delivery times to be more realistic. What takes the average designer 1 day, might take me 1 week.School and real life comes first, period.
NEW RULE
I am now expecting up-front payments. You will need to pay 50% upfront, before I do any work, and 50% after. This is to ensure that only serious people try to order from me. Do I give refunds for the down payment? In certain circumstances yes, in others no. More info under âPayment & Cancelingâ.

COMMISSIONS CLOSING DATE
My commissions wonât be open forever. I have other things I want to focus on, so Iâll be closing commissions for an unknown amount of time.
I will be closing on Jan. 31, 10pm EST. If you want to order you should do so before this date. No exceptions.

I might take a small number of commissions in waves, maybe like 2 or 3 per wave, but idk. Please donât pressure me one way or the other.

No but these are actually hot-
One recommendation I have is to advance your shading a bit. I saw your designs, and most of your shading is the shading where you make a squiggly line for highlights and shadows. Thatâs a good method if youâre a beginner, but it wont attract as many people. I recommend looking at some shading tips on youtube or here on the devforum. I have hundreds of videos or forums that I could send you. So if you ever have difficulty navigating some on your own, just message me!! Great job though!!! <33

Thanks, but alot of the stuff on my portfolio is older. I donât update regularly, especially due to my commissions being closed. If youâre truly interested Iâll show you my current shading style:
I realize your post wasnât meant to be rude, but I donât think I need help as you made it seemâŚI am certainly not the top dog, there are hundreds of better designers out there, but a reason I closed my commissions is because of so many people ordering. Therefore I donât think I need to âattract more peopleâ as you suggested.
Again, I know you didnât mean to come off as rude but as I said, the content on my portfolio is in dire need of an update. It does not reflect my current abilities and skills as a designer. Thank you for your input!
P.S: I am certainly open to constructive criticism, just not on old work. And in the future, please private message me criticism rather than putting it publicly on my portfolio. I prefer replies to be mostly questions or customer reviews. (This goes for all repliers, not just you)
