Is there any reason to use one over the other, or is it just preference? I know Roblox owns Guilded which is one of the reasons I ask.

As far as I know, it really doesn’t matter which one you use. Guilded provides a more integrated experience since it’s owned by Roblox but Discord is the most used and well-known. Guilded is also quite new, compared to Discord webhooks, hence, Discord webhooks have better resources out there when setting up webhooks. Perhaps in the future, Guilded will be more favoured, as Roblox continues to develop new integration features.
