Discover! Incorporated - Group Update

Hey folks,

Due to an incident that happened late December of 2019, this has resulted in the delay of Discover! Subterranean Research Base’s release and development. Most info are meant to be confidential, but I can share some to the public.

1. Internal Drama
On December 23, 2019, we have suffered drama related activities which resulted some of the staff leaving the team such as the main creative director for Discover! Subterranean Research Base. As a result, I have taken over its spot to become the main Creative Director.

️Unfortunately, due to drama, the development team as well with some of the staff having to see drama internally made an impact to our group, to a point that I personally took a break on Roblox to focus on other things, as well to recover what happened. This not only astonishes me, but also our staff as well. Due to a long recovery, the development status of DSRB has been delayed, as well we have moved the release date for DSRB further.

While our members listened to the staff about not participating in drama-related activities, there has been no reported info about our group members being part of the drama.

2. Recovery
Of course when drama strikes, there’s always a way to recover from said drama. As stated before, I took a break on Roblox to focus on other things. I would like to thank my staff for doing a great work while I’m away, but due to the fact that the original Creative Director of DSRB has left, we had to make new plans to continue development and release of DSRB. This also resulted in picking new developers, going back to the drawing board, etc, which could take awhile depending on availability of developers and time, we have chosen to push the release date of DSRB further while we continue to catch-up on what we have missed as a result of the drama.

3. Lack of Motivation
Most of our staff has lost their motivation after the drama happened, which resulted in our staff going on break to recover what happened. We would like to thank our group members for being understandable on the situation that’s been happening since. As members waits patiently for the next experimental update for DSRB, DARF, etc, we will continue to plan and get our motivation back to start ramping development of DSRB and release it to the general public.

4. Conclusion
I would like to personally thank our staff who helped our group while some took a break, I would also thank our members for being understandable on what happened on December 23, 2019. As I continue to recover and regain motivation, thank you for reading. I’ll see you guys later.
