As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to distinguish the faces of all parts. If there were toggles or something that can add visual clarity to which face is which, it’ll certainly avoid putting too much time wasted on rotating and resizing things all over again if something doesn’t appear to be in place.
For a scenario of such “accidents”:
- Build a chair
- Try to figure out if your seat is rotated correctly, you choose to test it
- You test the chair to see if it’s correctly rotated
4a. Best case scenario: The seat is correctly rotated
4b. Worst case scenario: The seat is incorrectly rotated
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because it will satisfy usability within certain use cases. They include rigging, determining which side a seat is facing and, for some rigorous reason, having the front face for decals for usage of displaying something like a billboard.
