Here at Dance Moms Online, we’d like our group members to feel welcome and to provide a safe space. Abiding by the following rules will help ensure safety and fun to you and those around you.

  • Follow all Roblox rules: https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Rules
  • Be respectful of other players and staff members.
  • Do not get involved in drama. Being involved in things such as gossip, bullying, will result in disqualification.
  • Do not publicly advertise. Discussing things about your group such as routines is allowed, but do not directly advertise your group/game to other players.
  • Share space with other players. If you need to, purchase a VIP server.
  • Do not ask for admin commands or a free rank up in the group.
  • Trolling, exploiting, and disturbing others is strictly prohibited and will have its consequences.

If you’re new to the group, ranking up might seem like a huge challenge. Although you have to make an effort to progress further, it’s a fun and nice way to meet new people and make friends.

Attending classes is the main way to rank up. To attend classes, you must be in our Roblox group to join the class center.

Once you’ve joined the group, you are able to join in on classes.

Section 3 - Tryouts

Once you think you’re prepared to tryout for the competitive team, you are able to take on tryouts.

Tryouts are hosted by me, Eleazar. Tryouts are much harder than classes and you need to put in all your effort while you’re on stage performing.

At tryouts, you will be given a routine. While you are learning the routine, there’ll be elimination rounds that narrows the amount of players down as time goes on. The routine will be challenging which helps the process of rounding up dancers with synchronization, the skill to switch between categories at a quick speed, and great timing.

Not very many people are able to pass tryouts. The whole point of tryouts is to put yourself to the test and see if you’re ready to take on competitions with other groups or not and hopefully turn into a coach after your time on the team. Throwing a fit will effect your eligibility in future events, so it’s best to be supportive of others and to learn from the event.

Section 4 - Staff Applications

If you want to progress further and help other dancers learn, applying for a staff position will help you out.

Being a staff member is a longtime commitment. It’s not something you do all in one afternoon and get the rest of the year off. You are to contribute to help the group grow, stay maintained, and moderate/be in charge of players’ actions.

Staff applications are announced on our Twitter and server. You need to be over the age of 13 as having Discord is necessary.

Once applications are closed, results will be held at the stage at a given date and time. If you applied for a staff position, you are to show up at that event.

Further details are to not be open to the public and is strictly prohibited to preset and future staff members.

Section 5 - Competitions

Competitions are currently being worked on and being planned out. To stay up to date on any announcements regarding dance competitions, join our Discord server (can be found in our socials tab on our group page) and/or follow our Twitter.

Section 6 - Other Events

Many others events are soon to come. As of now, we will host things such as get togethers to talk things out and have fun as a group.

We occasionally upload videos and do livestreams on our YouTube channel. It can be found under the group’s social links tab.

Many things are planned and will happen in the future. Stay tuned!

Section 7 - Behavior

Here at Dance Moms Online, we’d like if you were to keep things PG and have respect for others. You don’t have to be best friends with everyone, but it’s best to come together and have respect for one another.

Conclusion

I hope this cleared some things up. Feel free to reread if you ever have confusion about anything listed above.

If you have any questions, you can contact me, Eleazar, or any other staff member on the Roblox website via messages, or on Discord, and if you haven’t already, join the Roblox group to participate in any events listed above:
