Hey I was just wondering if a game’s favorites impact it’s whats the word… discoverability?

I’m not entirely sure but I don’t get games in similar genres recommended to me that I favorite.
The recommended section doesn’t seem to be “recommended for you” it seems to be “recommended to you because the community likes it”
