A couple days ago I started to try and make a realistic character that I could import to roblox, issue is when I try to import it, it say too many triangles. I did find a fix to this which was using the decimate modifier, although it didn’t quite look right as i needed to decimate it a lot. So would it be possible to bypass the too many triangle error without using the decimate modifier? All help is appreciated.
Yes, you would need to use the decimate modifier. If it is causing your realistic character to lose too many triangles, you could to separate it into multiple meshes.
If you want to preserve small details, I recommend baking your hi-poly mesh onto the normal map of a lo-poly mesh.
I recommend looking up yt tutorials to help!
