it depends on your ambitions. there’s lots of games made without (or, at least wouldn’t need blender to be made) that achieve their idea and get players, but if you wanna make something that looks high quality, you’re gonna need to use some sort of 3D modeling software

Well, is blender hard? I can’t seem to stay motivated to actually try.

If youre starting out, stick to roblox studio, maybe after two weeks to a month after using only roblox studio you can experiment with blender

I can’t say for myself since I’ve never used blender, but everything’s hard at first. What I’d recommend for getting motivated is just doing things that aren’t that difficult (like following a tutorial for something), but that still give you a sense of accomplishment

If you want to do simpler builds i suggest watching the youtuber RoBuilder, you can also watch speedbuilds to get a basis of how workflow should look like,

Organization and folders make life so much easier aswell, label models,

I mean, scripting I have way too much motivation for.

Watching speedbuilds help me get motivated, personally. Also getting proper referances can help if one of your issues is not knowing what steps to take

See one thing I’m scared about is working at big groups.

You can make solo games for now and possibly open up to working in groups later if you want, people have become successful working solo ^^

I mean even doing that. I come from a heavily criticized and toxic community (RoAv).

If you are able to leave, leave, im not sure what advice i can give you here besides that as im not too knowledgable on that topic.

The only help I can say maybe ask around if anyone will work for you as a builder.

Ah yes lemme go over everything. Exploting, backdoors, leaking, doxxing, ddosing, drama, raiding big tech groups.

Leave that community, 100% find any way to leave if you havent already,

I mean there is a good part to it and that’s the smaller groups.

I still suggest leaving, find a new community to thrive in without drama
