Do non-red particles count as blood?

So I’m working on a universal platform game, and I thought about adding a system where green particles are splatted about your character when your player gets hit by a projectile. They would be green, as is the color of the armor, so it’d be meant as an indicator that you’re losing armor.

I figured this would be fine, but is there any chance it’d still be classified as blood?

Thanks.

I would assume from prior experience that green ‘blood’ is okay. In general, you should be fine with splatter effects that aren’t realistic or otherwise gory - for example, cartoonish effects or stylised effects like what you mention.

Sounds good!

Yeah, I had plans of basically creating small green spheres that fade in transparency and also grow to look like an explosion or something among those lines.

Thanks
