PLEASE DO NOT FLAG; I DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO ACCESS STUDIOBUGS CATEGORY.

Roblox Studio always seems to lag whenever I open a game. This is regardless of whether its in a fully packed game, or a clean baseplate with nothing in it at all.

I have included a screenshot of my performance at the time, and a microprofiler bar.

I have tried the following:

Deactivated all plugins
Killed all tasks excluding Studio in Task Manager
Turning down the render quality
Tried OpenGL

Here are my specs:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
Approx. Total Memory: 7719MB
VRAM: 3949 MB
Shared Memory: 3770 MB
1920 X 1080 res
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H w Radeon Graphics Processor (16 CPUs, ~2.9GHz)
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Any help would be appreciated.

I think Roblox allocate alot of RAM when playing a game even though it uses less. And when There is another app in focus and Windows tries to give a little more RAM to the app in focus, Roblox gets laggy because it was unexpected for Roblox to lose some and tries to get that RAM back. This is just a speculation so try to restart your pc to release some ram (not shutdown, restart), but if this doesn’t work too then it is probably a bug…
Try to see if the same problem is happening on the Roblox Player too

Send this message to the Bug-Support team, they will review the bug and see if it is valid to upload to the forums, and then they will upload the topic for you.

Check your plugins or task manager for anything you can fix yourself. Try to replicate the issue so they can test it for themselves, and if it’s only on a single file, upload it together with the message.

No, it’s only Roblox Studio that is being laggy. Not the Player.

Anyone still got any ideas? I’m kind of lost here, ngl.
