I’m just polishing up my crate system and I was wondering if the following was against the TOS?
So I am offering an option to simplify (round UP) shop crate chances (0.4% → 1%; 49.9 → 50% etc) and I am offering a warning that using the simplify mode may make the crate chances less accurate since the crates round up. “Precise” mode is selected by default but people can change it to simple mode and back to Precise any time they want. Since one of my crates costs Robux, does this break the TOS since the chances aren’t super accurate with the simple mode?
Whats the point in this feature though? If you are changing the chances themselves and not just the display, then just make the chances one or the other.
In my experience, it’s better to assume that it is against TOS when dealing with robux. Even if it’s a gray area, they will punish you anyways. I suggest you disable opening of the robux crate when using simplified mode and make it precise only.
