Hey, my name is Thismeenswar and I’m in the process of revamping a Tycoon I made all the way back in 2019, however, as I don’t know how to code, I’ve been using Zednovs Tycoon Kit to make it. With that kit, I have no clue how to make custom droppers.
So, I wanted to gather feedback on whether or not the droppers are taking away from the game (WW2 themed) or, if players won’t really mind. Also if anyone knows how to better incorporate them (or even how to make custom droppers using the kit) I’ll be forever grateful for the assistance!
Note that the game is nowhere near competition so there’s a lot of flexibility
The droppers definitely take away from the theme you’re trying to capture, so I’d say just make the droppers resemble something that you would probably find in the war. For example, a soldier picking up ammo from a box behind them and putting it unto the conveyor belt.
Ah ok, I was hoping the droppers weren’t going to be to much of an issue but guess I was mistaken
Only reason I’ve held off making WW2 Themed Droppers is that finding ways to modify the droppers without breaking them has been such a chore, but if it’s really going to detract from the game I’ll keep trying.
The droppers definitely detract from the game, they make the game appear generic, completely destroy the atmosphere nor stay true to the theme, they aren’t bad and the game could still be fun, visuals aren’t everything nor that important to me however, they don’t fit in.
The style is nice however menus could be more redesigned and lighting should probably appear darker to suit the game’s theme, I’m not particularly skilled at building however these are my takes from a glance.
game is probably going to need some level of coding or it’d probably end up candy tycoon #1000 or a buggy exploitable mess, if I were you I’d scrap the entire code and code my own, you don’t claim to be a coder though so, good luck?
