Now in 13+ member only categories I would consider this acceptable since its honestly unintentional and if it were classed as NSFW it would be very borderline. However over the past few months I have seen a few unclothed roblox rigs used either in portfolios to show UGC concepts or today in community resources for a clothing tutorial.
While im sure no harm is intended, and most likely no harm is done. Would this be flaggable for unintentional NSFW? since these categories can be viewed by <13 users and im not sure if thats really the public image roblox would want.
To be clear, these are skin color rigs not standard grey.
They’re unclothed because most of times, the attention isn’t on the clothes. Like you said the UGC concept, it’s just placed on a standard rig. It’s like how a mall has those mannequins, but they don’t always dress them fully since the attention is supposed to be on the hat, for example.
So, while this isn’t in #bulletin-board, I think it’s fine not only because it’s unintentional, but also (like you said) this is a 13+ forum. We can all understand that if we’re working on a UGC concept, no one really has to the time to color/clothe the rig. Everyone understands that and moves on.
My query was <13 users can view every category bar Discussion / Forum Feedback / Lounge and therefor if it was still acceptable. As stated in my post for a 13+ user im sure it would be no harm done. But what if for example 7 year old were to stumble across this?
“Just color it grey”, well I got almost banned for having “nudity” content, because I uploaded an picture of grey colored rig, and Roblox Appeal team said the same thing and didn’t care, I got warned for something I shouldn’t be. This proofs that Roblox moderation is very strict to non-clothed rigs even tho they are not meant to be “nudity”. It feels like color doesn’t matter at all.
This is a professional environment where (hopefully) you don’t get punished because someone somewhere can extrapolate your creation to be tangentially related to something inappropriate. Don’t worry about it, and if you really are concerned, you can just change the skin color to grey or something.
@Daw588 Roblox moderation is completely different from devforum moderation. Devforum moderation understands context, and Roblox moderation doesn’t have any.
