DO you get a commission from 2d clothing if its bought in your game that you own but you don’t own the clothing itself? If so where do i see it.

No, there is no such thing as “commissions” like how UGC has. All the money (after tax) goes to you, none goes to the game that sold it in (I’m not sure about t-shirts though).
I know the owner of coded clothing mall (i dont know if you know of it) does clothing features, wouldn’t it make sense for them to have a percentage if they do that? Thank you for answering
I think they make you pay them for a “store” or a “section” in their game where your clothing are displayed. That’s how they make the money, unless they also sell catalog ugc

Another thing is royale high lets people buy clothing in their game, I don’t think they would put the effort in outting new clothes in their catalog if they didn’t get something from it right??
they earn profits from not clothing but gamepasses, accessories, etc. Economists use 2D clothing to make player more attracted to spending. Once a player buys robux, they are more likely to buy UGC. you wouldn’t just want 2D clothing and not any hair for example if you have robux.
edit: people don’t have to make money from everything. Some things act as Ads and Attractives. (ads actually cost the devs money, but work as investments)
I have clothing in royale high and when its bought in royale high i get 4 instead of the normal 5 when people buy directly from me so could u explain that? my clothing costs 7 robux btw

I know for a fact that there is a marketplace fee present for gamepasses that are sold externally; the percentages differ from gamepasses that are sold in their own game.
60% of profits are received by the creator of the product
30% of profits are received by Roblox
10% of profits and received by the developer of the game the product was bought in
The percentage increases from 60% to 70% if one’s gamepass is sold in their own game. This is the case for gamepasses, as for clothing, I’m not entirely sure.

Yeah, @Qveex answered you. There is actually some earning involved here. I didn’t know that the last time I learned about fees (2022).
