Do you need to be 13 years old to join the ugc program

I am not sure if this is the right category for this topic but I think it is

I made a developer account and I applied to be in the ugc programm on that account, but the age of the account that I set was 9 (Explanation on why is further below), and my main question is, do you have to be 13 to be able to join the ugc programm, if you do have to be 13, do you know any solutions on how I could still get in, in real life I am not 9 years old.

Explanation on why I set my age to 9 on the account

Long story short: I just wanted to test something on that account for which you have to be under 13 years old, so I set my age on 9 on there, and then I realized I couldnt change my age back

Yes. You probably need to be more than 13 years old

You can go to Roblox Support and write that you want to change your account age to 13+

Yep, that’s because roblox detects that you “are a child”
Roblox wants to kids be safe. But make sure not to change age never again (if you aren’t -12)

Just for a note, it’s optional. You can be 9 and have a 13+ account. But, it’s more recommended to put your age date. But also not recommended if someone hacks your account. They can see your birthday on “account age”.

So, make sure to make your account more safe by reading the Roblox Account Security

This is definitely not true. You can technically lie about your age when signing up to Roblox, however, it does violate their TOS, and is grounds for your account to be deleted.
