Every spike is a single part.
It is probably too many parts.
When I make a cactus, I would just 3d model it.

I would do that, I never used Blender though. I downloaded it yesterday and it seemed really complex.
It seems complicated at first, but after watching many videos, you can get the hang of it.
As long as they aren’t highly physics based they should be fine.
If they are anchored it would be fine, I would simplify it a bit to be safe though
Yea just use blender, it gets easy to use after a while of using it!
