Dodgebrawl | Official Rules
These are the community guidelines for Dodgebrawl. If you are found to be violating these guidelines, you will be warned or temporarily banned or permanently banned from Dodgebrawl. The violation is to be determined by the moderator at the time of incident, as is the punishment, if you are seen to be violating these rules.
1. Absolutely NO cheating or exploiting
If you are found to be cheating in Dodgebrawl by a moderator, you will be permanently banned. If our anti-cheat finds you to be cheating, you will be banned for a minimum of one day.
2. Do not target players
We do not permit targeting specific players or small group of players. Not only does this include in-game knockouts, but also includes verbal abuse within the game. Targeting players within the game is not allowed and will result in a ban.
3. Profanity and unreasonable language is not allowed
Dodgebrawl is a game for users of all ages to enjoy. This means that we do not allow strong language such as profanity. “Unreasonable language” refers to situations such as an argument. We understand that disagreements happen, but unreasonable and/or excessive language is not allowed and will result in a ban. Whether the language is unreasonable or not is to be decided by the moderator at the time of incident.
4. Bug exploitation
Dodgebrawl is not meant to have bugs. If you find a bug please report it to a staff member (see section 7: Bug Reports). If you are seen exploiting this bug for personal gain and/or griefing and/or other purposes that affect players, you will receive a ban. Whether you are exploiting a bug or not is to be determined by a moderator at the time of incident.
5. Be respectful
As stated in rule 3, profanity and unreasonable language is not allowed. However, verbal abuse towards a player or group of players is also not tolerated. If you are caught doing this, you may receive a warning or ban of some kind depending on the severity of the situation and how many times you did it. Once again, punishment and severity is to be decided by a moderator at the time of incident.
6. No adult content
Dodgebrawl is a game for users of all ages to enjoy. This means that you are not allowed to speak of, or reference intentionally in any other way, adult content. We want Dodgebrawl to be safe and fun for all users.
7. Bug Reports
Bug reports are a quick and easy way to report any bugs you find within Dodgebrawl to developers. You can report bugs you find within Dodgebrawl via our in-game UI, which can be opened via a sign in the lobby next to spawn.
When reporting a bug, please include:
- A detailed description of the bug
- A method to reproduce the bug
Please don’t include:
- Any unnecessary information (e.g. “So I just joined Dodgebrawl, and after the round…”)
- Any insults
- Any irrelevant content
Including insults may result in a ban. Please also note that troll reports may also result in a ban. A troll post is a post that is unrelated to bug reports, an insult, or a post that as a whole is not useful. Whether a report is a troll post or not is to be decided by a moderator at the time of incident.
the following examples are not actual bugs; please don’t report them!
Example of a good bug report:
“Notification for Group Rewards doesn’t work after trying to buy a power without enough cash.
After trying to buy a power without enough cash, you will no longer receive notifications from the Group Rewards area.
Steps to reproduce:
-Attempt to buy a power you can’t afford
-Enter the Group Rewards Area”
Example of a bad bug report:
“Notification doesn’t work for an area after I tried to buy a power.
So the other day I was playing Dodgebrawl and after a round ended I decided I wanted a new power so I went to try and buy it but I didn’t have enough cash so then I went to claim the Group Rewards but it didn’t work and I didn’t get a notification at all! Please fix u lazy devs >:(”
Thank you for taking the time to read these guidelines.
