Does anyone know how to make a Lumber Tycoon 2 styled shopping system?

Hi. I am currently working on a game and I am working on a store and in the store I wanna be able to make a store that works kind of like the one in Lumber Tycoon. Does anyone know how?
God bless you.

I mean… You need to know alot about lua to make a shop system like lua, and their are so many links to be directed to, and where to even start… Roblox devforums when it comes to script support will usually give you links to look at. Try asking this in scriptinghelpers.org

There you go. Thanks! I will check it out and let you know.

So I found out how to make things that are similar from lumber tycoon but nothing even close to what they had in their store. : /

Haha, I actually created something a little while ago thats pretty much what your asking for.

You might have to move and ungroup some things, but it should work :happy3:

You can download the rbxm here!

How do i know thats not a virus?

Reverse engineer it. Also people don’t spend 12 hours in dev forums so they can give a virus.

Ok.
How do i import it into roblox studio?

Rightclick on workspace in properties and go to insert file then get the .rblx or .lua

Go into explorer, right click on Workspace, and click Insert file…

Select the file I uploaded, and then move and ungroup like I said above.

And no, its not a virus. I promise, most of the stuff is made from scratch (aside of the grab, thats ported directly from lumber tycoon.)

And one more thing… I need the script and not the entire build.

You know how in lumber tycoon they have that nice shopping system? That is the only thing i need. I already have the grab thing. But still thanks for the build!

Mine is still a bit rusty, but i’m sure with a bit of editing, you can make mine better! :happy3:

Im not that good at scripting though… I’m more into building.

You can start by watching some of AlvinBlox’s videos! He does great tutorials that are easy to understand and also have source code if you get lazy (but you should follow along so you can learn stuff.)

Also, use the developer hub for things that are a bit complex that his tutorials dont cover. Good luck!
