Does changing the age guidelines on your game change anything?

Let’s say I released a very gory game.
If I didn’t set the age guideline to 13+, would it get taken down? If I did set it to 13+, would it still get taken down?

Does it make it so only 13+ accounts can join? Does it change what kind of people will see the recommendations?

I just want to know the exact point of this “guidelines” feature.

If you set it to a guideline that does not represent your game, roblox will warn you (i think) and then change your game to the appropriate guidelines

There’s a setting under parental settings that the guardian can change to make it so the player either can or cannot play 13+ games.
