Does exploiting still exist?

Hey guys, I know that Byfron is now functional on the platform and Synapse has stopped working for the exploiting community. It is my understanding that Byfron broke most other exploits. I play Roblox Bedwars quite frequently and there has always been exploiters in I’d say 1/5 servers you joined. Now it feels like you only come across an exploiter every 1/50 servers you join (my personal experience). It seems to me like exploiters have become much less prevalent on the platform.

That being said, is there still a need to implement an anti-cheat into your game or safeguard your scripts against potential exploits?

If the answer to the above question is “yes”, then are exploiters capable of editing LocalScripts to make certain functions not run? For instance, if I have a client script with two functions, one prints “Cookie” and the other prints “Cake”, could an exploiter delete the code that makes it print “Cookie” without also deleting the code that makes it print “Cake”? So the script would only print “Cake”.

Yes, they can still definitely exlpoit and you still need to add an anticheat.

Anything on the client side can be modified, so they absolutely can stop functions from running, or cause them to behave entirely different.
