Does layered clothing "watertight" matter and does ugc allow double-sided meshes?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I want to know if making it watertight even really matters, if UGC allows double-sided meshes and if I need to make any other changes

  2. What is the issue?
    I have an exposed plane with normals I cant properly flip without it looking bad.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far?
    I tried using the solidify modifier with and without specific vertex groups on, extruding the faces and separating the collar.
