Does My Game Have A Virus?

Hey!

I wasn’t sure what category this was meant to go under, but I am thinking that it goes under this category since it is about the game.

I have recently posted about my game to get some feedback, but after that for some reason now when people join my game they go into another creepy game…
Here is the link of my game if you want to see for yourself:

This has happened to a lot of people apparently, it leads the game to another game called ‘1’ and the owner is [redacted].

Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you!

it may seem your game has an instant-redirect script inside it, try searching in all scripts for an teleport service teleport request with an game id of 4453819140

Run this plugin, it should remove any potentially infected code.

Probably best to search for all teleport functions and not just those with that ID, it’s not impossible that there’s another game in-between.

Sorry that your game got a virus use what @TrustMeImRussian said. Just one piece of advice if you are using free models check them!

It removed 162 viruses, but my game still goes to that creepy game.
Any other suggestions?

Check every free model you had put into the game for a script with a TeleportService function.

I checked all of them, none of the scripts have a TeleportService function in them.

I decided to take a look at some models made by the owner of the game it’s redirecting to. Can’t seem to find anything even resembling malicious code. They have made a few plugins as well, but there’s no way that anyone would download them based on their names. This is very strange.

There is also a video on YouTube about it happening to someone else.
You can watch it here.

Are you sure you’ve checked every script in your game?

I haven’t checked my own models, I have only checked the free ones.

You should search for “script” in the explorer and look through everything you find there, viruses tend to infect stuff after all. Although I can’t see how it could infect anything without being ran. It’d have to be a plugin.

I checked through all 27 of the scripts I have, nothing. Basically all of them are just duped scripts. The plugins I have are the ones that come with Roblox Studio, such as: Manage Plugins, Plugins Folder, Avatar Importer, Rig Builder, Animation Editor and Tools. I also have the Ro-Defender Plugin.

Could it be that it’s some sort of external software that somehow injects the malicious code into your game as you’re publishing it, and removes it when you open it in Studio. That’s the only way I could think of that it could make it into the game without the you being able to find anything even resembling it in Studio. Whatever this thing is, it might be the most elaborate Roblox virus ever.

It might actually be the most elaborate, since when I first joined the game, more than 10 people were there complaining of how their game got hacked. Whoever did this must actually be extremely skill full. But do you know what the external software could be?

This gives me chills. You should try contacting Roblox staff, hopefully they can figure out the issue.

I actually didn’t think of that, I am going to send them an e-mail. About this topic.

It would likely be some sort of malware on the computer itself, it may have orignated from an ad. As some ads are able to download malicious programs to your computer, and this is something that has affected well-known and trusted websites in the past. Malvertising - Wikipedia

Either that or some sort of scam, as it’s only affecting Roblox users.

I don’t believe that could’ve happened, as I am aware of Malvertising and so is probably all the people who got a game in their virus.
I am not sure if this could be a scam or not but if it was, it would’ve affected the bigger games such as Jailbreak or MeepCity.
