So I started working on an anime tower defense game and so far its gotten near 10k visits and around 15k robux made. I don’t really have the money to sponsor it and I barely even have enough money to hire a scripter to fix issues so I’m not sure if should keep going or not. Another issue is that the genre itself is hugely saturated.
have towers equipped already. some players may not want to see the tutorial and not realise they have to equip towers.
add smoother loading screens when joining a map and when initially joining the game to reduce choppiness.
maybe put more work into the ui, its really important to give a finished feel.
this game seems fun and I would give it a chance. from my somewhat limited advertising knowledge, i would say to not spend robux advertising. maybe post on tiktok and youtube to advertise and spend the robux on a ui designer. good luck
i cant say for certain. if you can get good views on social media videos showing your game, or get creators to make videos on it, you have a better chance than others.
but i recommend adding tween animations so it can be smoother (kinda like what @Bikereh said) and if you want blur when opening a menu. Also tween animations on mouse entering would be nice
I joined the game but found it confusing. I couldn’t figure out how to remove the purchase tower GUI, and I also had trouble placing towers during gameplay.
