-So i want to make a prize game pass for 3 Robux, and there’s a small chance of getting, VIP. If they don’t get VIP, They get an Event rank in my game because I don’t want to scam people.
-Im worried my game may get taken down for scamming and other stuff, but I’m not giving away Robux if they win. I just want to have some fun w/ my player base.
-Can someone tell if this is OK for Roblox’s standards?
EDIT : it seems people are not understanding well, Read this.
But I’m not taking away their robux away completely, There’s a small chance of getting VIP and if you lose you can still get a rank in my group just for buying it. Because i dont wanna scam anyone’s money off. So im not really creating a raffle i guess.
This is considered as gambling, and gambling with robux is not allowed:
Do not implement any gambling or casino style games that involve real money in any way. This includes Robux, as Robux can be purchased for real money. Games and experiences should also be fair and not be skewed in the developer’s favor .
Also, according to community rules, raffles is not allowed too:
Do not create promotions offering prizes of any sort (including contests, raffles, lotteries, chain letters or any kind of giveaway). It is okay to offer players promo codes for in-game items only so long as they are not in exchange for something (e.g., in exchange for a thumb up on your game).

It is best if you ask Roblox support for this issue, per my opinion, this seems to be in the grey area of the TOS.
I would say it would be fine if you hook the game pass with getting a group rank in addition to having a small chance of getting VIP in your game, however, I can’t say you’ill not be moderated by a moderator seeing things different though/

If you do make this, don’t make the “lottery” a game pass, game passes can only be bought once, make it a developer product, so people can buy it multiple times. I would not recommend make the “lottery” only for robux. If possible, make it a reward for something challenging, and or make it buyable in a shop, so it aligns with gambling rules, and to make it more fair to people without robux. Good luck!
I think this is a good idea, although I don’t know what kind of game this is. I may have skipped something on accident, but games with in-game currency can have lotteries, as long as the only way to obtain the in-game currency isn’t Robux.

You are taking their robux away completely, for a chance to win one of multiple things. That is gambling. It could be between VIP and nothing, between VIP and a group rank, or anything. Still gambling.
Anyway, Event rank is special in a way. To Christmas events to Halloween events, They also earned a rank. So I’m not “taking their Robux away completely.”. And 3 robux, Thats a steal!
Phantom forces, Counter blox, and tons more games have a system very similar to the system I described. In Phantom forces, you can buy cases / keys for robux or credits, and you can buy credits for robux, or earn them. For this game, the cases will give “power ups”, and for each “tier” like common, uncommon, rare, very rare so on and so forth, the “power ups” would be better or worse depending on the rarity.
