Ignoring the white background, how does this text look?
I used half and half, some messing around and a Youtube tutorial. Give feedback, because if this does well, I may get into logo design.

Yeah, this is a nice text! As @xynekko stated. The gradient from red to yellow is phenomenal. I think this is good to go if you’re gonna use it!
